The Teravail Coronado is designed with the vast deserts in the pacific northeast, and southwest in mind. These sandy riding climates mean you need a tire with excellent flotation when it matters the most. The team at Teravail have created the Coronado to excel in these environments with ease. If you are looking for a tubeless ready tire, that is incredibly light but still utilizes a hardy casing the put the Coronado on your short list.
We reccomend using Stan's No Tubes Sealant in your Teravail tires.
The Teravail Durable Casing features a layer of woven aramid fiber reinforcement between the outer rubber and the inner casing. This material is twice as strong than Kevlar and lighter in weight than any competitive product. Located under the sidewall of the tire, it provides moderate protection against abrasion and sharp trail debris that may result in a flat tire.
