The same tread as the other Knard offerings, it's a web of closely spaced blocks designed to grab terrain and hold it hostage until it''s done with it.
Made on the same casing size as the Nate and Larry tires, these tires occupy a unique place in the line-up: faster, less loose-dirt-and-mud oriented than the Nate 3.8, more point-n-shoot than Larrys or Endomorphs, and definitely more dirt than Black Floyds.

asked by: a guest Can the Surly Knard be set up tubeless?
A.
anwered by: canteau The Surly Knard isn't rated as a tubeless ready tire so it make take additional sealant or work to get them to seal and may shorten the life of the tire.
Surly does not warranty the Knard or any other non-tubeless ready tire against issues caused by running or trying to run them tubeless.
