The Racing Ralph is a Tree Fort favorite mountain tire for cross country racing. Similar to its cousin the Rocket Ron, the Racing Ralph features lower shoulder tread a stiffer sidewall. This tire is fast, strong, durable, and relatively lightweight. Cornering ability is slightly reduced due to the lower treads, but even so, the carefully designed tread design allows this tire to dig in much better than most of the other lightweight race tires on the market.

The Ralph's are a very fast tire. Their pure race pedigree is apparent the minute you start down the trail. Unlike most XC racing type tires the larger side nobes provide great traction in the corners and really allow you to rail the single track here in central PA. One thing to keep in mind though is even for a 2.1 tire they are very narrow and therefore not the most forgiving.
Bottom Line:
If your into hard core AM this is not the tire for you.
If your thing is fast technical DH this is not the tire for you.
If your into flying like a bat out of hell down fast single track or tearing up the the local weekend XC race look no further this is your tire.
