Finally a titanium seatpost from Salsa! This is a beautiful seatpost and it is super comfortable. I've swapped it to a few different bikes and it's been great.

Seat post angle locking mechanism is an engineering failure. Slips under normal use. I was unable to evaluate the benefit of a titanium seat post due to the aforementioned failure.

This seat post is like butter...if you know - butter worked for seat posts. It looks amazing - and smoothes out trail chatter like a champ.
I can't speak to the problem of the "seat post angle locking mechanism" that the other reviewer mentioned. I was able to set the post up very quickly and have experienced no slippage as yet.
