2019 Marrakesh Drop Bar Touring Bike

Thank you so much to the good folks at Tree Fort Bikes! I was a little apprehensive about buying a complete bike through the mail, but am glad I did. Couldn't be happier with my purchase. Looking forward to many, many miles on my new stimulus whip!

I love this bike! I purchased the blue version and it looks absolutely stunning in person. I know that there were a lot of remarks about the weight of the bike, but it's easy to overlook that when you consider that the frame is steel (easily repairable and versitile) as well as some of the components (like the cassette), so you're going to get a lot of miles in before you have to replace parts--which is worth every extra ounce in my opinion. I've taken it out on a few local MTB trails (mostly intermeddiate trails with less technical areas) and gone on a few urban rides and I have no complaints. I was concerned about the bar end shifters, but they are actually super intuitive and I like that there are less moving parts, which means they will last longer. I also discovered that the bar end shifter won't be affected by my handle bar bags, so that's a plus! I can't wait to load this bike up with bags and get some bikepacking trips in. The shop was also fantastic! Once the bike was shipped, it only took a few days to get here, and it was packaged really well to prevent any damage to the bike. I am really grateful for the extra time and care put in to shipping my bike!
