anonymousMaybe a familiar story for some of us. My 2003 Trek 520 was stolen. I wanted another touring bike with Deore gear set. This new 2018 Salsa Marrakesh had it and MORE. I'm use to bar-end shifters so I bounded with the Marrakesh only after a few rides. Really like the many mounts for racks and water bottles, 5 to be exact. The Brooks saddle seems comfortable, but heard that it gets better with time. I knew this bike was gonna be heavy, 31lbs out of the box, unlike my 27lbs Trek. But, hey, I'll get use to it. Tree Fort Bikes had the BEST price, and with free shipping and no tax, it was a no brainer for me. If I ever get another new bike, Tree Fort Bikes will be getting my business for sure.
One more thing, they packed up the bike perfectly and I was able to track my bike from the day they shipped it to the day it landed on my front door.
