The big news for the 2016 Mukluk is an update in geometry. Mukluk is now sharing the same numbers as the highly acclaimed Salsa Blackborow fatbike. They've found this geometry works extremely well in all conditions and use cases whether it be riding groomed singletrack at your local trail, exploring a deserted beach, or embarking across the wild frozen expanses of Alaska in the ITI race.

This is a great bike! You wont find a better component set at this price range. Ive had mine for 10 months and it is a blast in the snow, but is also very capable and fun on trails of all types and conditions. The 3.8 120tpi Nates run over and grip everything. Go tubeless for sure, and note there is a free recall on the Guide R brakes if needed. This is my one do everything bike, and I love it!
