2011 Vaya Fork 700c

This is the replacement fork for the 700c versions of the Salsa Vaya. The 700c version has clearance for 42mm tires depending on the rim and tire combination.

The Vaya Fork uses lighter weight tubing that a traditional mountain bike fork giving it better road feel. It is perfectly at home on fire roads, 2 tracks and other dirt surfaces but isn't recommended for aggressive off road use.

One key feature most Salsa forks use are stainless steel forward facing drop-outs which help prevent the front wheel from coming off in the event that the quick release should fail. They also make installing and removing the wheel from the fork when equipped with fenders much easier.
