Red XG1190 Cassette 11-Speed

SRAM's latest XG-1190 PowerDome-X cassette includes graphics to match the newly released SRAM RED eTap electronic drivetrain group. SRAM''s PowerDome cassettes are machined from a single piece of high grade steel with an aluminum large cog. This machining process allows SRAM to remove the most amount of material as possible for reduced weight while making the cassette super strong.

To reduce drivetrain noise SRAM includes StealthRing elastomers between each cog that cut down vibration that can transfer noise through the rear wheel.

SRAM XG-1190 cassettes require a longer freehub body than what is used on a 9/10speed drivetrain. Newer hubs are starting to come with this freehub as standard. Not sure which version freehub your wheels have? Bike Rumor did a write up here.

If you are using SRAM RED eTap 11-28t is the largest cassette that is currently compatible.
