For 2018 SRAM brings the ultra wide 12-speed Eagle drivetrain to the popular GX group which meets at the crossroads of performance and value to meet the needs of riders looking for a high tech, yet durable drivetrain.
The Eagle GX 12-speed cassette features the same ultra wide range 10-50t gear range as the Eagle XO1 and Eagle XX1 groups but trades in the CNC'd billet construction for stamped high strength steel cogs and stainless steel pins. SRAM''s X-Glide 2 cog profile provides quicker shifting and better chain retention on the large cogs over the previous generation cassettes.
Eagle GX''s 10-50t gear range gives you a 500% difference between the high and low gears to closely match what a traditional 3x9-speed drivetrain would give you.
The SRAM Eagle GX Cassette is designed to work with hubs that have a SRAM XD driver and will not work with Shimano HG free hub bodies.
