12 x 142 Santa Cruz for BOB Trailer

If you have a Santa Cruz bike that uses a 12x142 thru-axle and want to use your BOB trailer that was designed for a bike with a quick release axle you are no longer out of luck. Robert Axle Project axles are designed and produced in the USA from 7075 hard anodized aluminum with stainless ends. Robert Axle Project axles have been tested and endorsed by popular trailer companies such as Burley and BOB that use a 10x1mm (standard rear axle)mount.

This axle uses the stock BOB Bobins which must be removed from the stock quick release. If you no longer have the BOB quick release a new one can be found here.

This version of the axle can be removed or installed with a 5mm hex wrench.
