V2 Replacement Brake Pad Insert: Dual Compound

Kool Stop V2 V-Brake Inserts are heavier than the previous V-Type brake pads Kool Stop offered, and while you are probably used to seeing the newer model being lighter in this case it's a good thing because the V2 brake pads have an additional 1.5mm of material. Kool Stop V2 pads will still work with Shimano and Avid compatible v-brake pad carriers and include replacement pins.

Kool Stop V2 brake pads feature Kool Stop''s rim friendly rubber compounds, water dissipation grooves and a shape that limits brake noise. Dual Compound V2 Pads blend Kool Stop''s wet weather salmon compound rubber with their longer wearing but harder black rubber.
