Banshee has very limited info on what headset size that frame uses, but it appears it may need a ZS headset, this is an EC headset. I would recommend taking it to a local shop to have them measure your headtube.

It doesn't look like it, most of the info I have been able to find lists the Quake 7.8 as a 56mm headtube. This headset is a 49mm cup. If by chance you do have a 49mm headtube instead of a 56mm headtube then it will work fine.
