Goal 1 for the
Salsa Cutthroat was a little ride in America's back yard called the Tour Divide.
Cutthroat''s full carbon frame and fork were designed to quickly cover every one of the 2,745 miles that cover the race course at a race pace. The Class V rear stay shape absorbs vibrations caused by uneven terrain to help reduce rider fatigue.
New for the
2017 Salsa Cutthroat is a redesigned full carbon fork that features internal wire routing for a dynamo hub eliminating the need to keep extra AAAs while out on the trail.
The Cutthroat''s frame features 5 water bottle cages (M-XL, 4 Small) and has the option to use Salsa''s new EXP Series direct mount bags.
Force 1 build
Cutthroat bikes include SRAM Force 1 drivetrain with hydraulic brakes. This group features a wide range 10-42t cassette paired with a 38t X-SYNC chainring. SRAM Rail 40 29er wheels are wrapped in Schwalbe''s Thunder Burt tubeless ready tires.
