The
Salsa Fargo is a drop bar mountain bike made to eat up mile after mile of just about anything you can think of. For
2017 the
Fargo gets an updated geometry to now work better with 51mm offset suspension forks and the biggest change is the wheel size. The
Fargo will still be capable of running 29er tires, but why stop there. The
2017 Salsa Fargo can now be used with 27.5plus tires on all sizes and 29plus tires on sizes Small and up.
The
Fargo's frame construction is still steel but does get an upgrade for 2017 to the Cobra Kai tube-set. The Cobra Kai tubing is seamless, triple-butted and frame size specific.
Salsa''s Alternator dropouts now have a split-able drive side making them work with belt drive for the first time right out of the box.
