We have not tried mounting this rack on a 20" Karate Monkey, but that frame and this rack both use standard mounting so it should work out just fine.

I mounted this rack on my Salsa Fargo and it mounted easily and is very stable. Great rack for a good price.

Love it, love it, love it! I had this rack installed on my Salsa Vaya when I purchased the bike. The rack is always in use. Very sturdy and solid (unlike the minimalist rack that that came unattached from my fork and got caught in the front wheel while I was riding). Highly recommended!

I can tell simply by holding this rack that it is a durable beast but unfortunately I discovered after buying it that it is spec'd to salsa frames so it is not universally compatible and would not fit my frame. Be cautious and check this out in person to make sure it fits your frame.
