These fit bikes with down tubes that measure 28.6mm, if you bike is larger than that they will not work.

will these work for a triple on the front crank? how about 8 in the back?

These should work fine for a front triple, but we don't have any feedback on if these work with 8 speed cassettes.

How do they attach to the stem?

If your stem measures 28.6 or if you come up with a shim it would.
