A GuestI haven't been able to do much riding on these bars since I only installed them today. But on my "test run" these bars were AWESOME!!! I've always felt a little awkward being in the drops with most other style handlebars (bent over too much, couldn't really reach the brakes/shifters) but the shallow drop on these bars makes it much easier and more comfortable (I can now be in the drops and have full control over the brakes and shifters without having to awkwardly position my hands).
They aren't the lightest set of handlebars weighing in at 300 grams, but for about $30 you can't beat them!

A GuestGreat bars....like other reviewers stated, using the drops on these bars is much easier than the typical anatomic drop bar.
ONE IMPORTANT THING TO NOTE! You should probably size up when using these bars, i.e. use 44 cm if you normally use 42 cm. The flare out for the drops means that a 44 bar will fit like a typical 42 bar when you're riding with your hands on the brake hoods. I had to find this out the hard way when I ordered two 42 Omega bars (I always used 42 cm bars before) only to find out that they felt really narrow on the tops and I had to sell them. I measured the distance between the shifter hoods on my old 42 cm bars and the Omega bars 44 cm and they matched up as the same distance. They don't tell you that in the product literature for FSA!!!

A GuestI bought these bars for a bike I built up for a friend. On a 20 mile test ride, I found these bars to be extremely comfortable. In fact, this style of bar will be the next bars to go on my bike. The shallow drop allows you to easily ride in the drops for long periods, and the short reach makes it easy to reach the brake levers. My wife also has a set of these on her bike and has found that she is much more confident riding in the drops due to the increased control. Highly recommended!

SthenicThese match the compact bars I have on the racing bike (except heavier). Give me no problems and I quite like the fit. Couldn't beat the price.

drewthomas06Awesome bars. Perfect drop and reach. Slightly flared at the drops.

A GuestGreat Bar.
Good compact design. Very short reach, nice mellow sweeping drops allow for out of the saddle sprinting with no worries of bumping fore arms on tops of the bars. Not much flex here, the alloy is nice and stiff.
One thing to keep in mind, the reach is very short. It will bring your brakes in a few cm so depending on how "spread" out you like to be, a new (longer) stem might be in order.
over all price, weight, finish, and strength are excellent for this product.

A GuestIt makes riding in the drops a whole lot more comfortable. Forget about those 'ergo' bars which are a pain on the wrists. These things are much, much easier to get into the right position. From the hoods, down to the drops, these are just a far superior design than others I've used in the past.

andymThese are my new favorite bar. The compact bend feels like I could ride in the drops all day. Due to the shorter reach I changed to a 10mm longer stem. I am now using them on my cyclocross bike and road bike. The bars are heavier than other bars I have used but the stiffness makes up for the additional heft.

climbbikesurfI got this for my cyclocross bike and is the same as the FSA Wing Pro compact I have on my road bike except for the round top. For cross, this is great since I'm rarely on the tops anyway and being round may be easier to install interrupter brakes if I ever want them.
These have a great shape (good sweep in the drops and not anatomical), short reach and drop. It is a tad heavier than my the Wing Pro but that is not a bad thing when riding off-road.
I only wish it had marks by the brakes to make setting up easier but for $30, I'm not complaining.

hawkinspHave been riding FSA wing pros for years, but decided to go to the compact bars for easier, more comfortable riding in the drops. I LOVE these bars and for the cost it is hard to beat. I put them on both my road bikes and have been very please with the comfort and control while riding. I am able to switch from the hoods to the drops without hesitation or feeling any instability, which I did on the deeper drop bars. Very easy to brake and shift while in the drops.

mbellettNice bars. Compact shape makes everything easy to reach, nice flat transition to the hoods, and adequately stiff. The shape of the drops allows for multiple hand positions, and allows for climbing in the drops without wrist rub on the tops.

malysi01Great Compact Drop Bars. Good reach and feel solid and I like that it's 31.8.

A GuestGreat fit. The drops are comfortable and natural. I have ridden a few hundred miles on them and find myself in the drops and comfortable as hell for 50% of the ride.

BBB25AdThe fit and finish on this bar are perfect, and it is rigid & reasonably light. The shape is perfect, for my riding style.
