A Guest I have been riding these rims for a month now and I am impressed at how stable they feel. I am a superclyde (6'4" 385) and I needed something stout that would hold me after I taco'd one of my alex rims. These things don't even seem to flinch under me. As I loose more weight I am gong to be doing more aggresive riding so we will see how they hold up as time goes by. I also love how the two tone brushed alloy and black look on my 29er.

cwgosling8I built up a set of 29er wheels using these rims two years ago. I use them on my primary bike, which is used for aggressive xc riding. I have hardly touched them - they stayed very true despite lots of abuse.
That is, until I took a nasty fall and managed to pinch one wheel between two rocks and then throw all my weight on it. It bent badly, but I was able to bend it back in place and finish the ride. Once I got home I trued it as best I could and then rode it for another 2 weeks before my replacement rim arrived. I was amazed that it didn't fold completely.
The downsides to this rim are its weight and the lack of tubeless compatibility. Since I ride with tubes, the latter isn't an issue. And I'd trade weight for durability any day.
I'm 200 lbs. plus gear and I have a penchant for breaking things. These rims never flinched. Get them if you want a wheel that you won't have to worry about.

A GuestI am 6'6" 215 .... beat the crap out of everything I own. I built these wheels up 2 years ago and and have yet to touch them. I would like to think it's my wheel building prowess ... but i think its just these rims are damn good!
