Tanpan - Shimano Derailleur Adaptor

For a proper 1x setup you need to run a clutch style rear derailleur. While Shimano was quick to bring a clutch style rear derailleur to their mountain groups letting riders enjoy quiet and stable performance, they have yet to release a model that works with their road groups. When this was the case with SRAM you could simply just run a mountain derailleur with your road shifters, which is also not an option with Shimano until now thanks to the Wolf Tooth Tanpan cable pull adaptor.

The Wolf Tooth Tanpan adjusts the cable of your Shimano compatible 10 or 11 speed STI shifter to work with a Shimano 10 or 11-speed mountain rear derailleur. A cable adjuster is included with the Tanpan, something Shimano leaves off of their mountain rear derailleurs and eliminates the need for an inline adjuster. Like all of Wolf Tooth's products the Tanpan is made in the USA and includes stainless hardware for years of corrosion free use.
