Direct mount rings designed for use with SRAM cranks that utilize their 3-bolt mounting style. This premium 7075-T6 Aluminum Alloy chainring is equipped with the patent pending Drop-Stop asymmetrical tooth design for the best in wear life, mud clearance, and chain retention.
Drop-Stop chainrings are designed for use with 1x9, 1x10, 1x11 and 1x12 drivetrains
Compatible with all 10-, 11-, and 12-speed chains, with the exception of Shimano 12-speed chains
Shimano 12-speed chains require the use of Wolf Tooth's Shimano 12-speed specific chainrings
If using a 9-speed drivetrain, use a 10-speed chain, which will provide a tighter fit for better chain retention
Not compatible with the SRAM 8-bolt interface
Made from premium 7075-T6 aluminum for durability and weight savings
Use of a clutch-style rear derailleur is recommended
6mm offset designed for use with cyclocross and road cranksets (47mm chainline) or GXP and long spindle BB30 cranksets (49mm chainline)

I have a couple of these in various Tooth Sizes. All I can say is it works!!! I run a SRAM X0 rear derailleur with no clutch and it still won't drop my chain. Mae sure to adjust chain length if you downsized chain-rings though. Simplify your drivetrain.
