Single speeds and internally geared bikes require a tough chain; and the Wipperman ConneX 7R8 is tough. Nickel plated steel starts things off beefy, but then Wipperman saw fit to reinforce both the inner and outer plates to keep things extra solid. Good luck trying to break this bad boy.

Tree fort offered this at a great price and it was worth the extra money to spend on a quality chain for a change. I have broken way too many KMC and SRAM SS chains, pretty quickly out of the box. This chain was noticeably stronger from the start, very easy to set up with their take on the magic link. if I clean and oil regularly this chain should last a couple years minimum.
