A GuestThese did not come on a bike, instead I built this rim up with some DT Comp spokes and the rim has held up really well (but it probably only has about 30 hours on the rim at this point) and I've had no problems doing minor tweaks to the spoke tension, as another reviewer commented on. The rim is nice and wide, so I used Stan's 25mm yellow tape to seal up the rim (I could not get a seal with 21mm tape). Matched with a Specialized 2.2 Captain Control 29er tire and the tubeless setup is solid. A much improved upgrade to the stock DT Swiss rims.

DanielPBCame with my 2009 GT Peace 9r Multi, they were laced to Shimano Deore disc hubs. I rode them for the Summer of 2010 and in the Fall, after my mechanic trued them, he told me they were a pain to true because they would spring back as he torqued the spokes, which are also cheap. They should be used for light cross-country and bike touring/commuting as they went out of true pretty fast riding trails in PA and VT. I am 5'10" and 180lbs. They probably have potential for someone lighter than me. I will upgrade to Mavic TN719/Shimano XT hubs in the future. It's just a question of if when these will give up on me or when I'll give up on them.
