Rocket V Race Saddle with CroMo Rails in Black

Comfortable seat that was a nice upgrade from my WTB Speed V seat. The width and fit is just right.

I purchased the WTB Rocket Race V a couples of months ago. It was a great upgrade from the cheap stock saddle on my Specialized MTB. I bought the saddle hoping it would be comfortable and it is! My only issue with the saddle is that due to its shape, it limits your ability to shift positions. Since it's raised in the rear and somewhat in the front, you're locked in position and really can't shift fore or aft. I'm happy with the saddle but I find myself wanting a saddle that allows me to move around in order to vary pressure and change up the blood flow. So in retrospec, I would probably go with a saddle that has more of a flat top. But again, I haven't experienced any numbess with this saddle, unlike the stock variety.

This is my go-to saddle. Of course, everyone looks for that perfect, comfortable saddle ... and looks, and looks. For me, this is the best I've found. I've put it on all my mountain bikes and even my cross bike. Road bikers might find it a bit wide, though. The up-curve at the back not only adds to the comfort but lets you push against the saddle more effectively. And the price (especially from Tree Fort) is quite reasonable.
