desistoYes, as a male, I too was reluctant to purchase a woman's seat but after 100' I knew I had made the the right choice. The top is flat and catches both hip bones, the padding is awesome, the best saddle i have owned.

A GuestI was a fan of the Deva when I purchased the titanium rail version for my road bike, and so I purchased 2 more for my mtn bike and CX bike as well. After doing some research on women's physiology and cycling seats, some of the discovery was that a flatter seat without any discernable lift anywhere on the seat was more comfortable and more suited to women's phyiques. This seat was named, so I tried it and loved it ever since.
I purchased it from Tree Fort because their prices were great (that instant price compare engine is so cool!). But I found out that Tree Fort Bikes also has phenomenal customer service. Kudos to you guys -- we purchase a good deal online, and after discovering some less than reputable or service-absent bike sites, you guys at Tree Forts are HEADS above the rest!

blackhillsbikerchickA good saddle, especially for those who don't do well with a cutout. My other saddle (on the commuter) is a Brooks. I didn't want to put a Brooks on the mountain bike. This is flat, supportive of the sit bones, with just enough padding to cushion bumps (I hate coming down hard on the Brooks). I have a Deva on my Kona 29er. This one is for an old mountain bike I'm fixing up as a winter commuter. I'm sorry they no longer make it with the chromoly rails.
Tree Fort Bikes had a great price and prompt shipping. I would definitely do business with them in the future.
