Planning a long jaunt astride your trusty touring bike? Don't leave home without the Velo Orange Touring pedals. With a stout 90mmx60mm pedal profile outfitted with grip tabs at the end of the pedals and great tread over the rest of the pedal body, you won''t worry about your feet slipping when grinding up a steep hill with a loaded bike in tow. They also use high quality sealed bearings that means you can just keep on turning your pedals over for as long as your legs will put up with it. Or at least to the next campsite.

asked by: a guest will theses work with hiking boots?
A.
anwered by: mhutch If a 90mm wide platform will be comfortable for you, yes they will work. If you have larger feet a bigger pedal platform may be a better idea.

These pedals are fantastic. They reek of quality, the spindles are nice polished steel, and the aluminum platform is beautiful. Some may prefer the older campy style platforms, but the CNC milled aluminum is beautifully modern and satisfies my inner engineer.
The bearings are very smooth, and the platforms grip shoes well, but do not tear them up like some more aggressive pedals.
Great buy.

These pedals have one bearing on the outside and bushing on the other. Ride for few times and the nut came off on one pedal. Put it back and it's working fine so far.
