If you haven't heard of Velo Orange, it''s time to check out their line of cool neo-retro components. This seatpost, for example, is awesome. It boasts a 30.2mm setback, among the longest available at the moment. This is great is you''re a Brooks saddle Connoisseur, due to the limited fore/aft adjustability of Brooks saddles with their super short rails. And with a classic polished silver look, it''ll fit right in with your revamped cruiser or vintage touring or rando bike. Cheers!
- 30.2mm super long setback
- Two bolt fixing system for stability
- Classic finish to look great with your bike

bicycle100I love dealing with this company... everything I order comes as requested, and Timely as well.
I installed this seat post "velo orange" on a Marin muirwoods 29er , as i found the geometry just a tad aggressive for the tour bike i was trying to make of it. it gave me the half inch of play that I was looking for to get my bottom back farther for the clip on aero bars I installed on my flat bars...
the post looks nice and functions as it says... no surprises. its a seat post, it is what they say....
more importantly to me, is, I could of purchased this from other places, but I am liking my experience with Tree Fort Bikes.

smcnaryHad a Thomson Elite on a Surly LHT cradling a Brooks B17. Needed 20mm set back based on a bike fitting assessment. B17s have short rails and need posts with lots of setback. Thomson's post with setback is only 15mm, not enough for me. Velo Orange had this setback post, which is chrome (wanted black), but looks great and has the two bolt microadjust which, for me, is a must. Tree Fort continues to impress with fast, inexpensive shipping, and very competitive pricing.

wrobertdavisThe seatpost finish is excellent. It looks like a Nitto but its made in Taiwan. Its two defining features are dual screw adjustment and long setback. It is basically in a class by itself. I am not aware of any other seatpost which combines these two features, especially at this price.

A GuestThis is the first two-bolt seat post I've used. Love having the ability to fine-tune the back-front tilt of my saddle. I use Brooks saddles, and it's always been really tricky to get that exactly right. I'll never go back to a single bolt seat post again. And it has an ingenious swinging bolt which makes it very easy to install the saddle onto the post.

niknakThis seat post looks great and is perfect for those who need extra setback to get their Brooks and other leather saddles far enough back behind the bottom bracket.
I however dislike the two-bolt design. If you want to adjust the for-aft position you end up messing with saddle tilt. Although not as pretty, the Race Face seat posts have the best adjustment system. Too bad they don't do silver.
