agerweckI bought Tioga D-Spyder pedals to use on my Cruiser/Commuter bike. I have been using them for about a year and they have been holding up very well. Tioga provides two different style of pins you can use, I opted for the spikes and haven't slipped once. The size of the pedals can look decieving, but they are the perfect size that offer a great deal of support, even in the winter when I am wearing my size 12 boots. The bearing in the pedals feel very nice and still spin very freely.

Jsy...@co...t.netI have tried many platform pedals in search of what I wanted. Some, like the Blackspires, are excellent and to be highly recommended, but I really wanted something under the typical 100 x 100 mm size. This is because I wanted to concentrate my pedal force in a smaller area for more efective power while trailriding. The Tiogas fill the bill for me and have been very effective. They are beautifully made and of high quality. My foot size is 9-1/2. I can see that pure downhillers may want a larger footprint but the Square D's give plenty of support for me.
