asked by: a guest Are these supposed to come with the 15mm and 25mm bolts? (instructions say they do, but I only got the 25s). Not a huge deal, but I'd like to know for the future.

asked by: a guest I have a 1991 Bridgestone RB-T. The one with the very narrowly spaced Canti posts: about 61mm on centers. Will these work? Thanks. David

anwered by: canteau The Tektro 926AL brakes will fit on the frame, the issue might be the clearance on the brake pads to the rim. Kool Stop does make thinner v-brake pads called ThinLine for frames and forks with tight clearance.

asked by: a guest Will these mini-V's work with Shimano road STI levers? (are they short pull?)
A.
anwered by: a guest Yes, they work great with STI levers. I've used them with 105's, tiagra, and the new claris stuff. Not tried them with the changed ratio ultegra stuff post 2015 though.

anwered by: a guest Well this dude seems pretty happy with them on road levers - http://www.erikv.com/blog/index.cfm/2011/9/22/Mini-VBrakes-for-Cyclocross

anwered by: a guest I installed them on my bianchi axis cx bike (2005 model) with 105 sti's and they work fantastic. I have 700x25's on and use it like a road bike. I have much more confidence now than with the shimano canti's, and I'm using the same pads as before...koolstop salmon. I ordered the adjustable noodle though, it makes a big difference getting the cable off and on.

Despite the official answer these will work with STI levers. They are powerful brakes on a cyclocross bike. Go carefully at first, they don't modulate well. An inline adjuster would be a good idea, since they are hard to adjust to get the right pull, and not rub the the wheel. These are only going to work with STI with fairly true wheels. When I got theses set, I could easily lift the back tire.
Summed up: Hey, they are really cheap, try them on your cross bike.
Yes, I would recomend this to a friend.

Stop just as well as my Force Calipers off my road bike. Not quite as light but a ton cheaper. Fussy installation and tuning. I took another reviewers recommendation to buy the nice adjustable noodles. I would not be able to remove my wheels without those noodles. Excellent product for the price. Would recommend to everyone interested in an inexpensive answer to needing some more braking power with their canti-post cross/touring bike and not wanting to spend $$ on Paul Comp stuff.
Work great, agree with the other reviews. These brakes are inexpensive, well made, nice finish and work well (much better than my original cantilever brakes). You will need to use an
inline cable adjustment or you may not be able to get your wheel off. Not a lot of space between wheel and brake but my bike does not see much mud.
