Newer than the New hubs, these are the Surly Ultra New hubs. Our first question was, what will they name then next ones? But then we noticed that these have the same 6061-T6 forged hub shell as the New hubs, and 6901 superhard bearings. What's Ultra New are the 4130 CroMoly axle and stainless steel cones, these use a shouldered axle and aggressively knurled cones that allow these hubs to be completely adjustment free and simple to service.
Rear road hubs are available in Fix/Free 32 hole black or silver
