Surly track cogs are designed to spin onto standard ISO-threaded (1.375" x 24tpi) hubs, so they will work with most English, Italian and Japanese hubs, including the Surly New track hubs. The thread base is 7.4mm wide for maximum thread engagement while maintaining enough room for a track lockring to thread on. Like our cassette-splined cogs, these are made from machined, heat-treated and chrome plated SCM415 CroMoly steel, so they are tough and long lasting. Track cogs are available in either 3/32" or 1/8" tooth thicknesses and in every size from 13-22t.

Surly makes a solid and well engineered component. The Surly cog and lockring work particularly well with each other to maximize thread engagement on a variety of hubs. Tree Fort has these two components for a great price.

the last surly track cog i got it was based on good reviews, but i still did not know what to expect. that cog served me over 3 years, through thousands of miles of urban riding. strong, reliable, long-living and affordable. this year when finally time to get a new cog i without hesitation purchased the exact same.
