The Surly Midnight Special is an endurance road bike frame designed for all-day rides on varied surfaces, from cracked pavement to gravel. It features a 100% Surly Chromoly frame with a double-butted main triangle for strength and a 1-1/8" threadless Chromoly fork for durability. It includes rack, fender, and three water bottle mounts, with flat-mount disc brakes for reliable stopping. The 44mm head tube accommodates a wide range of headsets. Tire clearance is 27.5 x 2.35" or 700c x 42mm without fenders, and 650b x 50mm or 700c x 38mm with fenders, absorbing road chatter for comfort.
