What makes the Sorceress a smart trail hardtail upgrade

• Steel trail chassis, 140mm-focused geometry - Designed around a 140mm fork for a planted front end and predictable handling on fast, technical trails while keeping the direct feel and durability riders expect from a steel hardtail.
• SR Suntour Zeron36 Boost EQ fork (140mm travel) - Extra front-end support and stiffness for braking bumps, rock gardens, and steep compressions, with modern Boost spacing for wheel strength and tire clearance.
• Shimano Deore 12-speed drivetrain - Wide-range gearing for long climbs and punchy resets, with straightforward setup and serviceability that suits high-mileage trail riding.
• Shimano MT420 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes - Strong, consistent braking for heavier trail loads and sustained descents, adding control when traction is limited and speeds rise.
• Patent-pending Surly DUH dropout system - Built to stay current with drivetrain options: compatible with SRAM UDH hangers and Full-Mount drivetrains, or convertible to a slotted chip for a clean single-speed setup.
• Rider-fit and real-world carry - Inclusive standover and maximized dropper post insertion to accommodate riders from 4′9″ (146cm) and up, plus room for one or two bottles (depending on frame size) for on-bike hydration.

Traction and control come stock with Teravail Kessel tires: 29 x 2.5" on most sizes, or 27.5 x 2.5" on XS for proportional handling and fit.WARNING: Cycling involves risks.
