anonymousCould not wait to get my grubby hands on this bike. It's sooooooo much fun to ride. Surly has outdone themselves with this build. The RockShox 35 does not disappoint, the 2.6 Dirt Wizards are gnar and the 12 speed gearing that 51 giant plate makes it easy to climb over anything. Definitely not a weight weenie bike, if you ride steel you know it wont be a factor, but with this bike you will feel the climbs. The brakes are not good, 2 rides in and they are hurting specially on the downs. The dropper is a little short, I got a small frame and had to extend it past the limit mark to get a good pedal extension. So most likely those brakes and dropper will get an upgrade for sure. Now with the right tire pressure the bike does feel like you have rear squish specially on the drops, I was surprised. The bike picks up speed fast and talk about clearing gnar it does it with ease. I really enjoy riding the bike, my poor KMonk is a little jealous right now, but I will make sure to share the love. Thanks treefort for hooking up the great packaging it was a super easy assemble when I received it.
