Surly Disc Trucker Thru-Axle Fork in Grandpa’s Khakis is a 700c rigid steel touring/gravel fork built for riders who want modern disc-brake and thru-axle security without giving up real-world cargo flexibility. Its curved, full chromoly steel blades add comfort on long paved and mixed-surface days, while the fork’s mount layout supports racks, fenders, and extra carrying capacity for commuting, randonneuring, and loaded touring.

2. Flat-mount disc brake compatibility - Clean, modern caliper fit for consistent braking in wet weather and under load
3. 12mm captured thru-axle fork ends - Improves front-end tracking and wheel retention versus quick-release designs
4. 700c x 47mm tire clearance (with or without fenders) - Fits high-volume gravel/touring tires while keeping full fender functionality
