We spend extra time and care building, testing and re-boxing your bike before it leaves. This takes approximately 5 business days beyond the ship date shown on this page. This extra step and time allows us to ensure that when your bike arrives to you it will be very easy to assemble for most anyone. Most bikes do not include pedals, so make sure to choose some for your new bike so we can ship them in the same box and you can get our riding quicker! As a highly versatile touring bike, the Bridge Club hits the sweet spot that separates on- and off-road excursions. The simplistic design makes it fully adept to handle a full rack and pannier setup, frame bags, or any combination of the two. It doesn't feel sluggish on paved shortcuts, but can also hold its own on dirt detours. If you''re feeling a little zesty on your next road tour, you won''t be ill-prepared for reroutes through the woods. The Bridge Club is designed to handle it all.

This is the most sturdy stable bike I have owned. The 1 x 11 drive train is super smooth. The 32 tooth gearing is a little low for city riding and changing out the chainring is tricky because of the asymmetric cranks -*something to consider if you are using this as a commuter ride* but that is a minor gripe. The first thing I did when I got this bike (shipped super fast to NYC) was change out the grips, the ones provided are puny and offer no real cushion. But again a minor issue.
There is tons of mounting options on this bike should you want to set it up for touring/bikpacking.
I look forward to many years of adventures on my Surly Bridge Club.
