asked by: a guest What is the difference between 32h and 36h?
A.
anwered by: bhardy The 32h has 32 spoke holes and the 36h has 36 spoke holes. You'll need to figure out which one you need based on the spoke drilling of your hub. Hope that helps.

I bought these rims to replace some old 35 year old rims that were on the bike. These rims were recommended to me by a local well respected wheel builder. The new rims trued up very well, and were nice and round when I finished building the wheels. The Sun Ringle website did not have the ERD of this rim posted, but a quick call to their tech support got me the answer. The ERD of this rim is 620, NOT the 618 as posted on many competitors sites. I would definitely use this brand of rim again. For the price you cant go wrong.
When I pulled this 27" rim out of the box and placed it on a flat surface, I was shocked to discover that it was almost an inch out of true. Through many hours of frustration, I was able to tease it into a rough approximation of what a bicycle wheel should look like. Sun should be ashamed to sell a product with such low quality control. I've been told by a dude who's built up a whole bunch of these rims for his shop that they have about a 1/3 useable/unusable ratio. Not good. If you really need to build a 27" wheel and can find another option, use it.
