I installed this brake on one of my beach cruisers and it does its job just fine. There is no excessive braking which would cause the front end to dive, but just enough force to use with my coaster brake for a smooth combined braking.

Nice hub. Very smooth and consistent braking. Does not seem to generate as much braking force as a caliper brake.
