All Condition Armadillo Folding Road Tire

The All Condition Armadillo Road Tire is built for riders who put reliability ahead of chasing the last few watts. It uses Specialized's Armadillo protection to take on the glass, gravel, road debris, and general abuse that can turn a normal road tire into a roadside repair, but the 120 TPI casing and GRIPTON compound keep it from riding like a heavy-duty commuter tire. The result is a durable road tire that's still reasonably quick, comfortable, and predictable when the pavement gets rough or the weather turns wet.

Key Features

• Armadillo construction provides substantial protection against punctures and cuts
• 120 TPI casing helps keep the ride compliant rather than overly stiff
• GRIPTON compound balances rolling speed with dependable wet and dry grip
• Tread pattern is designed to maintain traction when roads are wet or dirty
• Folding bead makes installation easier and reduces bulk compared with a wire-bead tire
• Built for high-mileage riding where avoiding flats matters more than minimizing every gram
• Available in 700 x 25, 28, 30, and 32mm widths

Who It's For
The All Condition Armadillo Road Tire is for road riders, commuters, and high-mileage cyclists who are tired of fixing flats. It's especially useful on rough pavement, debris-strewn roads, winter roads, and daily commutes where puncture protection is worth a little extra weight. The 30 and 32mm sizes also make sense on modern endurance bikes when you want more air volume and comfort without giving up the tire's focus on reliability.
