The SILCA Protocol RCG-3 32" brings the company's race-focused gravel tire design to the emerging 32-inch wheel standard. Measuring 32 x 2.4 inches, it combines the high-volume ride quality of a modern XC-inspired tire with the balanced speed, traction and puncture protection needed for demanding mixed-terrain gravel.

Rather than simply making a narrower gravel tire wider, SILCA designed the Protocol platform around the interaction between tire width, rim width and inflation pressure. The 32 x 2.4 RCG-3 takes that philosophy further, using additional air volume and a larger contact patch to provide more control and stability when gravel courses become rough, loose or unpredictable.

High-Volume 120 TPI Race Casing
The RCG-3 uses SILCA's 120 TPI Race Casing to provide a supple, responsive ride while taking advantage of the increased air volume available in the 32 x 2.4 format. The larger volume allows the tire to absorb impacts and conform to uneven terrain while maintaining the controlled feel needed for high-speed gravel riding.

SealSkin Puncture Protection
SealSkin adds additional puncture protection for the conditions where durability becomes an important part of the performance equation. Rather than relying on an unnecessarily heavy casing, SILCA incorporates targeted protection while maintaining the flexible characteristics of its race-oriented construction.

Progressive Tread Architecture
The RCG-3 uses a directional tread designed for mixed terrain and changing conditions. Tightly spaced center knobs promote efficient rolling, while the tread increases in height and size toward the shoulders to provide additional traction as the tire is leaned into a corner.

The result is a larger, more stable contact patch and predictable cornering traction when the surface gets loose.

Pulsar Compound
SILCA's Pulsar compound is engineered to balance rolling efficiency, grip and durability. Combined with the high-volume casing and progressive tread, it gives the RCG-3 the versatility needed to maintain speed across changing gravel surfaces. 
CarbonBead BeadLock CarbonBead BeadLock uses a carbon fiber bead designed to maintain dimensional stability throughout the life of the tire. Unlike traditional Kevlar beads, carbon fiber does not absorb moisture or stretch, helping maintain a consistent tire-to-rim interface over time.

The 32 x 2.4" RCG-3 is designed for riders who want the additional volume and contact patch of a 32-inch tire without stepping away from a performance-focused gravel platform. The larger footprint provides additional stability and control when the course gets rough, while the RCG-3 tread keeps the tire appropriate for fast mixed-terrain riding.

Tubeless Ready
The RCG-3 is designed for modern tubeless gravel setups, allowing riders to take advantage of its high volume and lower-pressure capability while using sealant for puncture protection.
