Eloy/Cuberider Light set

Unfortunately this kit did not meet my expectations. To start with, the build quality leaves much to be desired. The plastic feels cheap and fragile and the hinges that hold the parts together are small. I haven't break it (yet) but I'm handling it with care due to the fragile feel. The light brightness in the front is not good, the beam is wide and weak so it works well to make you be seen in the dark, but it doesn't help you seeing your path (but that is ok since this product is marketed as a safety light kit). The rear unit is fine. There are only one flashing option when most comparable products would offer multiple flashing options. The front unit mount is a gimmick. It does not mount very securely on the handlebar and the plastic teeth that hold it in feel fragile. But what I really don't like is that the head unit 'leaks' light to the rider's eye through the top of the plastic 'lens', which is disturbing when riding in the dark (especially when flashing). Overall Negative: - Build quality is poor and feels fragile - Front unit bracket not very secure - Front unit not very bright (only to be seen) - Front unit light leaks to rider's eyes - Only one flashing option Overall positive: - Rear unit mounts fine on seatpost - You get color options Conclusion: Avoid this kit unless it is dead cheap or you like the design / color options very very much. For the currently asked price ($*ish) it is not worth the money, the weight and the time.
