asked by: a guest Does this rotor align the same as a flat steel rotor?
A.
anwered by: canteau It should, but switching from one model of rotor to another you will most likely have to readjust the caliper because of changes rotor thickness.

When doing a side by side comparison to an Avid Cleansweep this is a more bulk rotor. But what it has in bulk it makes up for in durability and usage.
I've used them mostly for XC racing and the heat that can build up on gnarly descents really make these rotors stand out. The stopping power remained constant. Unlike what I have seen with some other brands that would build up heat and cause misjudging on amount of braking needed.
Works great when paired with Shinamo XT brakes.
First, a confession: I HATE long, steep descents on gravel! These discs won't make me a monster descender, but they take away a lot of the fear of going downhill fast. Great power. Almost zero fade. Excellent modulation. I won't race gravel with anything else.
Summed up: Great power and modulation on long, steep descents.
Yes, I would recomend this to a friend.
