This XT derailleur will work with a SRAM 10-speed cassette, however, it will not work with SRAM shifters.

For a double, the Medium would work just fine for you. The long cage for a triple.

For 2013 all updated Shimano mountain derailleurs will work with both new direct mount frames and traditional derailleur hanger based frames.

The Shimano 10-speed Dyna-Sys does not work with 9-speed groups. They both have different cable pull ratios.
