Shimano RT81 Centerlock rotor is 1 part of the Shimano IceTech disc braking system. When used with the Ice Tech pads braking surface temperatures are greatly reduced to provide consistent stopping even under hard braking. RT81 centerlock rotors are made from a stainless/aluminum/stainless sandwich with an alloy center spider for stiffness. The Shimano RT81 rotor includes a standard lockring. If you are going to use a hub with a thru-axle the over sized HB20 lockring is required and not included.
