paul tyrrellI race & I'm a pretty strong rider. I had KEO Sprints for a year, the bearings are garbage, as they also are on the KEO Classics I put on my wife's bike. They rattle around! I got the Sprints because the release tension was higher than their others. Had an old pair of PP256 for along time, they were great. Had a love hate relationship with Speedplays for some years.
These Shimano pedals are great. High quality. The loosest tension on these is tighter than the tightest on the KEO Sprints. Not the lightest, but I prefer good durable parts to ultralight. I put a pair on my TCR Advanced SL some months a go. I just got a second pair to go on my new track bike. I know they'll serve me well.
