First time user, use at weakest setting and practice on the grass. Will fall the first time but you will get the hang of it.

I use these on a Jamis Coda Sport flat bar road bike. They are easy to get in and out of quickly in traffic when necessary, yet secure enough to greatly increase pedaling efficiency. Durable too, after two years of moderate use, no problems. I am going to get another pair of these for my mountain bike.
