The Shimano GRX BL-RS717-L Brake Lever paired with the Shimano GRX BR-RX410 Hydraulic Disc Brake Caliper is a purpose-built left/front hydraulic disc brake solution for gravel and all-road bikes running a Di2 right-hand lever. By deleting left-side shifting electronics, this setup delivers a cleaner, simpler cockpit while preserving GRX-specific lever shape and control for confident braking on rough surfaces.

Up front, the BR-RX410 flat-mount, 2-piston caliper is tuned for gravel modulation and consistency, using increased pad clearance to reduce drag and noise in gritty conditions. It ships with L05A-RF resin pads with cooling fins for better heat management on long descents. Uses Shimano mineral oil. Rotor sold separately.
