The MT210 crank is designed to work with a 3x mountain front derailleur. The exact front derailleur will depend on the frame the crank is being mounted to. You will want to make sure the max tooth size is at least 44t.

The Shimano MT210 crankset requires a Shimano HollowTech II bottom bracket designed for 68/73mm bottom bracket shells. The HollowTech II bottom brackets are compatible with road and mountain bikes, however unless you have the 3 required 2.5mm spacers that are included with the mountain version you will want to use a mountain bottom bracket like the Shimano MT800 or BB52B.

I bought this to replace the worn out triple crank on my hard tail. The bottom bracket that works with the hollowtech ii is far lighter than the square taper that came with my bike (no scale necessary). Overall, the crank and bottom bracket fit all of the components I already had and it works as it should, easy to install with the correct tools. My LBS removed my old crank and BB for $15 and I installed the new one. Super happy with this product.
