BR-R650 Brake Caliper

I bought these for my girlfriend's bike (2010 Cannondale Synapse Feminine 5). They are a replacement for the stock Tektro mid-reach brakes. I did so due the difference I noticed between my Dura-Ace 7900 brakes and the Tektro brakes. She had become used to the Tektros, UNTIL I installed these non-series mid-reach brakes. It's been a month, and she still says she's getting used to the quick, very aggressive braking. From a mechanical perspective, holding the Tektro in one hand the Shimano in the other, ... the Tektro feels like it has been bonded with glue and rocks, while the Shimano is best described as a fabulous feel. I believe these brakes would be best slotted alongside Ultegra (you know, the best value, and fabulously performing group). No regrets, should have upgraded earlier (well, actually, we should have bought her the Ultegra bike to start with, but, you never know if the sport will be embraced - three years later, it has and is only growing)
