A GuestI really like these. I use these for my road bike and they are comfortable, have a nice wide platform, and just feel good under foot. Would not recommend for lots of in-town riding, as finding the right side is a tiny bit of work, but for people who want to use spd MTB shoes with their road bike, these are a good choice. I mainly went with these because I have very nice mtb shoes and didn't feel like spending lots of money to buy equivalent shoes and pedals. So far so good.

ChaadsterLike others, I wanted a light road pedal to use with my MTB shoes, and these fit the bill nicely. The large platform also makes jumping on the bike in street shoes easy, so that's great, too. It's a handsome, sporty pedal, and the function is excellent.

A GuestI use my mnt shoes for road as well, these pedals are the lightest spd's available, at a better price than double entry, for road single side entry is par. Of course they will get scratched, you are using steel cleats on an alum. body... duh...

A GuestThus far, they seem alright. Bought them for commuting and cycle-cross.
Here are some notes:
- They scuff up instantly, destroying a very nice looking finish on your first ride
- Despite the uni-directional cleats, you can release in both directions
- Flipping them right side up for frequent mount/dismount is tougher than you'd think
Overall, I'm feeling as though I would have been better-off going the egg-beaters route. That being said, the platform is nice and the level of play is great.
